Core Committee Members Efforts towards Get-together event on 25^th January 2014

1)  William Carry (Principal Sir) – 4 members went to college and spoke to Principal Sir and 4 HOD’s. First Thanks to Principal Sir for permission of the get-together event

2) Jhonson Anna (87 Computers) – Anna is working as computer assistant in our college. Anna helped a lot for Auditorium permission and kept the keys with him. He was with us till 24^th night. His mother was serious and passed away in the night. 25^th morning we took the keys and Anna went to his native. Thanks to his great help and commitment.

3) Kumar Anna (90 EC) – Got the idea 3 years back and we met in Bangalore first time and discussed about plans. Then Anna went to Kolkata and not able to reach and came in this November to AP. He reached college one day prior and involved in all arrangements.

4) Sivaji Anna (88 EC, Hyd Core) – 1 and half year back Anna got the idea of 25 years get-together then conducted meetings in Hyd 5 times and he opened bank account and met me and we worked together. Anna collected around 75 old student details. He reached college 2 days before and all involved in all arrangements

5) Joseph (Yesebu) Borugadda (92 CM, Bangalore Core) – 3 years back Kumar Anna (90 EC) had this idea of 25 years celebrations and we met at Bangalore. I have created the Facebook group (GMR Polytechnic Rajahmundry Old Students Association).  1 year back When Sivaji Anna (88 EC) met in Bangalore. We both worked together then I met Praveen (97 CM) Srinivas J (2005 CM) and Ratna Kishore (96 Mech) and planned well. I have done mails composing to all GMRians, SMS compose, Facebook groups update, Blogs update and event day timelines. I have collected around 100 old student details. I reached college one day prior and involved in all arrangements.

     6) Praveen Kumar B (97 CM, Hyd Core) – When Praveen met me in Facebook group, then we used to talk everyday about the plans. Praveen and Purna (92 CM) went to college and got the permission for event. He arranged 3 times meetings in Hyd. He used to send SMS and mails to Hyd old students. He collected around 150 old student  details. He reached college 2 days prior and involved in all arrangements. He has used his car for 3 days continuously. Sending bulk SMS to every GMRian (600 members) is taking care by him.

7) Ratna Kishore (96 Mech, Vijayawada Core) – I met Ratna Kishore with the help of Praveen. We used to talk everyday about the plans. He called every day atleast 10 people and tell about this event. He used to send daily 100 SMS to his GMR contacts.  He arranged 2 times meetings in Vijayawada. He collected around 150 old student details. He reached college 1 day prior and involved in all arrangements.

8) Srinivas Juvvala (2005 CM, Chennai Core) – When I met Srinivas J in Facebook group. We used to talk everyday about the plans. He called every day atleast 10 people and said about this event. He used to send daily 40 SMS to his GMR contacts.  He arranged 2 times meetings in Chennai. He collected around 100 old student details. He reached college 2 days prior and involved in all arrangements.

9) Purna (92 CM, Hyd Core) – Purna is My Classmate.  Praveen and Purna (92 CM) went to college and got the permission for event. He involved 3 times meetings in Hyd. He used to send SMS and mails to Hyd old students. He collected around 45 old student details. Bulk SMS package idea is owned by Purna. All Banners compose and printing has taken care by Purna. He reached college 2 days prior and involved in all arrangements.

10) Srinivas K (88 EC, Rajahmundry Core) – Srini Anna, Prasanna (87) Praveen and Purna went to college and got the permission for event. Anna spared his entire day in the college and went by by his car. Anna arranged 2 times meetings in Rajahmundry. He enquired about Food, hotels, Tents, Chairs, Stage related and everything. He reached college 2 days prior and involved in all arrangements. He has used his car for 3 days continuously.

11)  Apparao (88 Mech, Hyd Core) – Anna involved in 4 times meetings and shared his ideas and how to speak with Principal when we went there for permission. Alumni formation background work also anna doing. Anna reached college and event day and involved in all activities.

12)  Venkata Swamy (91 CM, US Core) and Vijay (91 CM) – Venkata Swamy anna taking care of all Overseas members mails and fund collection. 2 times he called from US and spoke about the ideas and plans for the event. Vijay Anna reached college 1 day prior and helped core members entire 2 days with his car.

13)  Lakshman (93 CM) and Srini Naik (88 CM) Bangalore Core – Both helped me a lot for Bangalore meetings. Lakshman used to call his classmates and provided his classmates 20 members details and came to college on event day and involved in all arrangements. 2 times meetings we arranged in Srini Anna house only. He helped a lot with his ideas.

14) Srinath (2003 Mech) and Basi (2001 CM), Vizag Core - – Arranged meetings 2 times in Vizag and helped a lot. Srinath reached college 1 day prior and involved in all arrangements. event day vandemataram, janaganamana sung with college students and handled registration of attendees and money collection and ID badge. Basi came with his classmates with GMR logo and attracted all Alumni for his innovative idea

15)  Prabhakar (98 EC), Subbarao Anna (90 CM), Vijayawada Core – Both helped Ratna Kishore for meetings. Reached college on event day and involved in all arrangements

16)   Prasad (2005 Mech) and Anvesh (2005 CM) Pune Core – Arranged meetings 2 times and helped a lot. Unfortunately unable to reach college due to busy schedule.
