25 years of Old Students Get-Together event @ Dr B.R. Ambedkar GMR Polytechnic (Bommuru), Rajahmundry was GRAND SUCCESS!!

 

Dear GMRians,

We (Core Team) are very happy to share the news about our Get-together which we celebrated on 25th January. We have celebrated the event very well planned. Totally 270 Old Students attended the event. Everyone attended the event beyond our expectations. We have got the feedback from 1987 batch 2010 batch and everyone appreciated our Core committee efforts. We have planned and implemented in excellent way. We are very thankful to you everyone (attendees) who made the event very successful. We have collected 600 members details till now and colected 3 Lacks contributions.

Total Attendees: 720 members (270 Old Students + 400 Existing Students + 50 Staff)

Event Flow: Timelines from 10AM to 6 PM IST.

Entrance: 9AM to 10AM

  b) Cash Contributions (taken care by Srinath (Vizag Core Member - Totally 58 people contributed by cash = Rs. 72,100
  c) ID Badges for everyone (Name, Batch and Branch details in the Badge) - Srinivas J (Chennai Core member)
  d) Video of the every Old Student (Introduction) - Ratna Kishore (96 Mechanical, Vijayawada Core member)

  a) Event Hosted by Speech - Sivaji Jugunta (88 Electronics, Core Member Hyderabad)
  b) History of Get-together Planning Speech- Praveen Kumar B (97 Computers, Core Member Hyderabad)
  c) Future plans of Alumni to help College + Students Speech - Joseph Borugadda (92 Computers, Core Member Bangalore)
  d) Other Topics - Ratna Kishore (96 Mechanical, Vijayawada Core member)

2:30 PM - 3:00 PM - Entertainment by Sudhar Anna (88 Batch)

3:00 PM - 5:00 PM - Career Councelling + Guidance (Branch wise)

5:00 PM - 6:00 PM - Conclusion of event - same core committee members are going to continue for next 2 years
